The roses are in full blossom right now at my parent's place. 

They are absolutely beautiful🌹✨

I love flowers🌹💕

So today I will show you one of the idioms that has the word "rose" in it.

Phrase of the day:

"Stop and smell the roses."☕️

= (忙しかったり、ストレスを抱えてる人に)

「ちょっとリラックスして休んだら。」

smell = 匂いを嗅ぐ

なので直訳すると

ちょっと立ち止まって

バラの匂いでも嗅いでさ。

リラックスしたほうがいいよ！

ということになります。

例えば

A: " I'm too busy with work lately. 

       I guess I'll have to work this weekend."

(最近仕事が忙しすぎてさぁ。また今週末も出勤だと思う)

B "That's too bad! 

     You should stop and smell the roses."

(え！そんな〜。ちょっとはリラックスした方が良いよ。)
