These days I'm so into this US TV drama called "the Big Bang Theory."👽🛸🚀

It's not about alians or UFOs or stuff like that but I thought it would really help you to learn English that's actually spoken by native English speakers.

All right, so today I would like to 

introduce you guys one of the phrases

from "the Big Bang Theory".

"Isn't that a little too on the nose?"

こんな題名ですが、宇宙人とかUFOなどの

おはなしではありません笑

でも生きた英語を学ぶのにとても良いと思います！

今日は "the Big Bang Theory"から一言、

ご紹介しますね。

"Isn't that a little too on the nose?"

(=それちょっと直球すぎない？)

on the nose: (論理など)正しい

                      (時間、数量など)ぴったり 

という意味もありますが、

オブラートに包まずに直球で言ってしまう時

このように使われたりもします。

色々な意味があって面白いですね😊
