Trip to Okinawa 12 Gusuku Yama

One of the feature of IE island is the small mountain middle of the island.

The mountain was called "Gusuku Yama".

We tried to climb up at the top of mountain today.

On the way to the top, there was the observation platform.

We could have a short break there.

At the 2nd floor of the building was open area for visitors.

Anyone can take break and enjoy the scenery from there.

Following picture is the view from there.

I like it because it's not congested like big city.

It means that there are many spaces and house or buildings are not so big.

This kind of view made me relax.

Next picture is the character of IE island "tacchun" and the entrance to climb up to the top of mountain.

There are so many characters in Japan in many local government, town or village for the purpose of promotion.

On the way to the top, we found the hotel Casa Viento which our team member was staying.

We could confirm that it was small building surrounded by many plants.

After going up so many stairs, we got to the top finally.

The view from the top was so beautiful with the color of the sea, blue sky and small town there.

Also we found the ferry boat was leaving the port for going to the port of Motobu town.

The time we were spending seemed going slowly, not like in the big city.

Maybe it's one of the reason for many visitors come to Okinawa or any island there.
