3. Critiques The game was almost over, we were on our last objective. All the insurgents had to do was blow up our cache and the game was theirs. I wasn't gonna let that happen, or so I thought. My battle buddy and I went into the objective room to look for suitable hold out positions. When we reached the top of the stairs we were mortified. A lone insurgent had found his way into our weapons cache room and was now sitting atop. We raised our weapons to shoot but the insurgent shouted "WAIT!". With our weapons trained on his head we gave him only moments to speak. That's when we noticed it, a lit molotov clutched in his right hand. The insurgent said " If you kill me, this molotov will fall and destroy your cache. However I am willing to negotiate." At first we offered him money, but to someone who's willing to stand on top of a box with pure explosives with a bottle of flaming gasoline in his hand, money didn't mean much. We then tried offering him a clean slate, the complete deletion of all crimes put against him, but again he refused saying that winning this battle wouldn't stop his people fight. Then we offered the last thing we had, ourselves. We told him we would become hostages, he gladly accepted placing us in front of him as human shields. A few seconds later a lone machine gunner came walking up the stairs. Me and my buddy started yelling "Don't shoot you'll kill us all!" The machine gunner must have disabled voice chat because as soon as he saw the insurgent behind us he let out a flurry of indiscriminate gunfire slaying all three of us. In my final moments of life I saw the molotov shatter on top of the weapons cache, obliterating the lone voice chat disabled machine gunner
