Who's Snail's House???

Snail's house, also known as Ujico* and whose real name is Ujiie Keitaro（氏家 慶太郎）,  is one of pioneers of Kawaii Bass scene. However, he's still 22 years old, born in 1997!

Despite his age, his tracks make us feel nostalgia by its 8-bit sound. His music is off course not a copy of Famicom (family computer game) BGM, but it obviously updates old school gaming music to modern pop music by making use of his unique musical talent.

His music video, which combines his music and cutie anime character Snail Chan is published on his YouTube channel. These music videos got attentions worldwide as you can see comments on the videos saying the viewers come from various nations.

His most viewed vide on his channel, Pixel Galaxy's Official MV, has gained so far more than 50 million views.

Since the release of "Nyan Nyan Angel!" and "Kirara EP" in 2014 and 2015, he has started to gain online listeners' attention, and since then he constantly releases his tracks / EPs / albums.

He also releases set of several EP / albums under the the same titles.

One of these sets is "Ordinary Songs" series. So far, we have seen Ordinary Songs 1, 2, 3, and 4. These albums feature tracks that sound more like 8 bit nostalgic music as in ra-mu-ne.

Another series of albums starting from 2017 is "Alien☆Pop." Up until 2019, he has released three sets of "Alien☆Pop" EPs. Tracks featured on Alien☆Pop series sound more like literary "pop" and up-tempo, and we might see in these tracks influence from Yasutaka Nakata, Japense legend DJ in the EDM scene.
