APU Chain No.8!

べ：今回はスマンさんです。

では、自己紹介お願いします

ス：APS2回生のスマン・ラルです。出身はネパールです！

べ：日本語お上手ですね。

ス：実は実家は山口で、親は日本でカレー屋をしています。

山口にお越しの際はぜひ寄って下さいw

べ：行ってみたい！恒例の質問になりますが、APUに入学したキッカケと将来の夢を教えて下さい！

B: Today’s guest is Suman. Please introduce yourself.

S: Suman Lal from Nepal. I am 2nd year of APS.

B: Your Japanese is brilliant!

S: Actually, my family lives in Yamaguchi prefecture. They have their curry shop there. Please come visit when you come to Yamaguchi.

B: what is the reason why you came to APU? And what is your future dream?

ス：2010年に日本に旅行に来たんですが、その時に日本人からAPUのパンフレットを貰ったのがキッカケです。そのパンフレットはずっと実家に眠っていたのですが、日本の大学に行きたいと考えるようになった時にそのパンフレットを思い出してAPUへの入学を決めました。

将来はグローバルリーダーになりたいと考えています。その為に、自分でNGOを作りたいです！！

べ：APUに来る国際生はグローバルリーダーになりたい人が多い！日本人も負けてられないですよ！APU生が世界を牛耳る日も近いかも...

APUではどんなことをされていますか？？

S: I came to Japan in 2010 as a trip and one guy gave me the brochure of APU. I haven’t ouch that till I decided to go to the university in Japan but once I choose the Japanese university, I remember about APU and I came to APU. In the future, I want to be a global leader so I want to establish the NGO.

B: so many international students want to be global leaders! So, what have you been doing in APU?

ス：最近ではFLAGのサブリーダーをしていました。大変でしたが本当にいい経験になりました。皆さんもぜひ挑戦して下さい。他にもEIGOサークルというサークルを作りました！！別府の小・中・高の学生に英語を教える活動をしていきたいと考えています。興味がある方は連絡下さい！

べ：興味がある方はBeppaerまで！！日本語ペラペラででほとんど日本人のようなスマンさんですが、日本の面白い文化を教えて下さい！

ス：やはり、温泉ですね！裸で一緒に入る文化はネパールにはないので最初は驚きました。「裸の付き合い」という言葉も面白いですね！日本人と仲良くなる一番の方法は「裸の付き合い」だと思います・

S: recently, I was doing the sub leader for FLAG. I spent hard time but it was a great experience. Also, I created the circle EIGO. In this circle, im planning to teach English to elementary school, junior high school and high school students in Beppu. If you are interested in, please contact me!

B: you can also contact Beppaper if you are interested in the circle. Have you find any interesting Japanese culture since you came here?

S: ONSEN! When I went to Onsen for the first time, I was so surprised because we do not take a bath without any clothes in Nepal. I think the best way to make Japanese friends is to go to Onsen and be close to them with no clothes on hahaha

べ：確かに！日本人の友達をたくさん作りたい国際生は日本人を温泉に誘っちゃおう！！

ス：最後に一言いいですか？？今、自分の母国であるネパールは大きな災害で傷ついています。APU生の皆さんには募金活動に参加していただきました。本当にありがとうございます。

ネパールは観光の国です。世界遺産の9割を失いましたが、ネパールにはチトワンなどまだまだ多くの観光地があります。ぜひネパールに行って下さい！！それが一番の薬です！

べ：様々な場所でAPU生が募金活動している姿を目にしました。こんな大学はAPUしかないと思います。

B: international students! If you want to make japanses friends, please do go to Onsen!

S: can I say something? Right now, my country Nepal is facing a lot of difficulties because of the earthquake. I’m so appreciate those who donated for us. Nepal is famous for the tourism. We lost 90% of the tourist places but we still have some places you can enjoy for sure! So please visit there! That’s the best way to support us.

B: I saw so many people were supporting Nepal. In this way, APU is the Best school! So please choose the next person!

S: Anoj! He is really hardworking and cool!!!
