JOCV 50th anniversary !! 協力隊５０周年記念イベント：日本祭り！！
The first volunteers were sent to Laos in 1965.
So last year marked JOCV(Japan Overseas Cooperation Volunterr)'s 50th anniversary.
The 50th anncersary ceremony went exactly as planned in Antananarivo today.
Tosay was big day for me. Because I was a leader for preparation and execution of this event. All JOCV spent much time to prepare for today since last October.
昨年、２０１５年は、青年海外協力隊（JOCV）が始めて海外のラオスに派遣されてから、ちょうど５０年が経過した記念の年でした。
今日は、JOCVの５０周年を祝うべく、首都アンタナナリボで盛大に式典等の催しを行いました。
この日のために昨年の１０月から準備をしてきました。
僕はこのイベントの実行委員長をさせて頂いたので意味深い日となりました。
The stage was coverd with red, white and green curtains.
Thses colors mean the natinal flag of Madagascar.
ステージのカーテンはマダガスカル国旗のカラーでした。
I gave a speech at the opening ceremony.
I did it in Malagasy. I read this draft of a speech many times for today.
午前中に式典がありました。
国歌斉唱後、いきなり僕のスピーチと各隊員の自己紹介でした。
スピーチの原稿を読みながらのスピーチでしたが、自分でも驚くほど緊張せず、一度も噛まずに（笑）スピーチを終えることができました。
We showed a "Yosakoi - Soran - Bushi" dance with a song.
この日のために数え切れないほど練習してきた、よさこいソーラン節を披露しました。
『どっこいしょ～どっこいしょ～！そうらん！そうらん！』
We guided the VIPs and visitors around the stands which exhibit some Japanese cultures or give some experiences about Japan after a ceremony.
式典の後、来賓の方々を日本文化を紹介する展示コーナーへ案内です。
This stand is for FUROSHIKI. It's a traditional Japanese wrapping cloth.
We showed how to use the furoshiki in many ways.
これは、『ふろしき』コーナー！
どこの国にも布切れはあるので、結構人気でした！
This stand is for Japanese food.
Today we serve Suiton (soup) and Onigiri (rice-ball) !!
一番人気だった和食コーナー！
今回は調理場所の関係で、すいとんとおにぎり！！
とってもシンプルな献立でしたが、限定食があっというまに完売でした。
マダガスカル人のおにぎりの食べ方が面白かったです。
おにぎりを、わざわざスプーンで崩してから食べていました。
米文化は一緒でも、マダガスカルのお米はパサパサしているのが主なので、おにぎりには不向きです。そう考えれば納得できます。
This stand is for Manga and Ehon (picture book).
All Japanese books attracted many visitors.
日本が誇るマンガや日本の風景などの絵本は、たくさんのマダガスカル人を楽しませていました。
This stand is for green tea!!
They had a experience tea ceremony.
抹茶の茶道が体験できるコーナー！
抹茶の味はどう？？？
「甘くないの？」
「これが抹茶です！」
This stand is for calligraphy.
Good job !!!
She is a judoka and a daughter of the teacher of Hakudokan judo club.
She wrote "水".
"水" is one letter of my family name.
I was surprised how she knew that letter!!!
柔道クラブの先生の娘さんが、僕の名字の１文字「水」を書いていたので 驚きました。
誰が教えたんだろうと、周りを見回すと・・・
I understood why she wrote "水".
Writing "水" is so easy for kids to do. That's why!!
「水」！！
あ～なるほどね～
子どもにとって書くのが簡単な文字ということね！笑
The visiters enjoyed other Japanese culture doing Origami, wearing Kimono, and taking beans with chopsticks.
その他にも、豆つかみ競争コーナーや、折り紙、着物の着付け体験など、【日本】を体験してもらいました。
There were many programs in the afternoon.
Mr. Loran!! He is one of famous singers in Madagascar.
We did "Tearai dance" with him bacause he sings that song.
He had a short concert after Tearai dance.
Also we showed how much washing hands is important by telling a story with pictures.
Some students of the Antananarivo universtiy sang some Japanese songs.
Some JOCV gave a demonstration of kendo, karate and judo.
Of course, I did judo.
午後は、各ブース以外も催しが盛り沢山でした。
イベントには定番になりつつある、僕たちの先輩が作成した手洗いダンスもやりました！
今回はお祭りということで、このダンスの歌を歌っているマダガスカル人の人気歌手、ローラさんがこの日のために来てくれました。
ローラさんとのリハーサルなしのぶっつけ本番でしたが、彼のアレンジも目立つことなく無事終了しました。
ダンスのあとは３０分ほど彼のジョータイムでした！
そして、アンタナナリボ大学生による日本語の歌の披露や、協力隊員による剣道、空手、柔道のデモンストレーションが行われました。
もちろん、柔道は僕も形を披露させていただきました。
I was on the defensive this time because I did on the offensive at the last time.
Tarimy beat me!!!
１月の別のイベントでは僕が投げ役をしたので、今回は投げられ役をしました。
知り合いの子どもに
「いっぱい投げられていたね～」
って笑われたのでした。
I am with Hakudokan judo teachers and Tarimy.
We ended this big event by showing "Yosakoi - Soran - Bushi" dance with a song.
I want to say thank you very much to all.
I am vary happy hearing many Malagasy said "I had a great time today".
I like making people happy and giving them happy memories.
Hakudokanの先生と柔道の形を一緒にやってくれたタリミーです。
いや～、あっという間に一日が終わりました。
最後は、JOCVみんなでソーラン節を全ての力を込めて踊りきっておしまいでした！
今日は何事もなく無事にイベントが終了できて、みんなに感謝したいです。
会場に来てくれたマダガスカル人が、「今日はとっても楽しかったよ！」と、言って帰ってくれたのが一番嬉しかったです。
