もうすぐバレンタインデー

週末に買い物に行ったら

お店はバレンタインデーでピンク一色

When I went to the food store on the weekend, 

the store was all pink color for Valentine's Day.

たくさんのチョコレートなどの

お菓子が売られていました

A lot of sweets such as chocolate were sold.

かわいいと思うけど

アメリカのお菓子って

あまり魅かれない・・・

I think they are cute 

but American sweets don't attract me much.

というか

アメリカに来てから

甘い物を食べたいと思わなくなりました

I mean

Since I came to the United States, 

I no longer want to eat sweets.

日本で働いている時は

甘い物を食べたくてたまらなかったのに・・・

When I worked in Japan,

I wanted to eat sweets.....

あの頃は

ストレスだったのかな(笑)

At that time

I guess stress was the cause.

それとも

日本のお菓子に中毒性があるのかも(笑)

Or

Maybe Japanese sweets seriously has an addictive taste!
