We booked in February this year to see an all star cast with Alfie Boe and Michael Ball however we did not see either of them. We did enjoy the performance but would not have bought tickets at that price if we had known they were not going to be in it. Booked this when tickets came out on a night Alfie Bow, Michael Ball and Matt Lucas were all performing. Took our seats in the theatre on Friday 21st Nov. The performance started and none of the three were on stage. There was no announcement to say they were all ill. Complaints from all around us. Hundreds complaining afterwards. Really not acceptable. This should have been cancelled and refunds given. Despite having four understudies/alternates it was still as amazing, to say it was a concert I thought the staging was brilliant and added to the event. Went to see the show last evening. I loved it. The whole cast were very talented. I can't wait to go back and see it again The cast where amazing However Id book specifically to see Michael Ball and Alfie Boe. Michael was off due to illness and Alfie didnt do Wednesday afternoons. So although the performances were brilliant we did leave feeling disappointed For Accessibility information please contact 0344 482 5137 Shaftesbury Avenue, London W1D 6AR No refunds or exchanges available after purchase. Absolutely amazing, saw this on the 16th August and still can't get it out of my head. The cast are phenomenal. Am I the only one that can see the huge irony of Les Mis at The Royal Variety Performance. This is the finest performance of Les Miserables to date, the movie was okay, but no where near this standard! This performance has dozens of unique pieces that will never be performed to that quality again (as a whole. I have nothing against the movie, but this touches my heart and movie never came close.
Me and my twin sister recently saw this in Cardiff millennium centre UK and it was phenomenal and when we went outside we saw the little girl who played corset but she was so so shy and I said you have just sang with hundreds of people watching you and now you're shy she was so sweet and it was her first show she was just 8 years old what is brilliant musical I just lovely miserable and when he comes back to Cardiff me and my twin sister will be there again so thanks for the video Merry Christmas Everybody and a Happy New Year✨🎇🎆🎄🎄🎍🎁🎍🎊🎉🤶🎅👼🧚♀️🧚♂️.
@thebluroommusical For me it is more that Nick gets lost between all the others. He is a great singer on his own, but with all the other voices that was in this concert he got lost, and he didnt seem to be able to relax on stage. Great vlog, can I still buy one of your scrunchie or are they sold out. As much as Im a big fan of Michael but nope nope nope. It's funny how you can notice if someone read the great masterpiece of Victor Hugo, just by hearing or reading people that prefer Eponine over Cosette! Please read the book, you'll enter to a journey full of love, passion, redemption, mercy, anger, happiness etc. It's a wonderful experience. Literal goosebumps and tears. 2:58 oh my gosh. Carrie is incredible. Shan is incredible. Just amazing.
Could you upload the full audio of the concert or some excerpts with JOJ at least. 30:00 Who Am I/The Trial. Ball and boe are making a new album called back together. If they dont do the confrontation they would have missed a huge opportunity.

I saw my first Broadway show last night. Of course, it was Les Miserables. Absolutely unbelievable. Now i understand why my friend said I sang wrong when I was singing “do you hear the people sing” because I sang the one from the movie and she knows the one from the theater.

At the end of the day still my favorite musical, of all time. So the moment where the barricade turns to reveal Enjolras draped over the red flag. and the music. just cry every time.
