Hampi-3
Who could believe to climb up to the top of the hill in this climate? After an-hour-drive and, having had a whole day out to Hampi yesterday, I felt reluctant to go out from the car when my driver told me, ‘madam, hum pohunch gae hain’. I was asking him, making excuses not to go ahead, ‘Really? Have we reached the right place?’, ‘Could you go out and check if it is crowded? If it is busy and takes time to go to the top, I am not willing to go out’. But his answer was very cool. ‘No, madam, we are at the right place and it is not crowded. It will take only one and half hours to climb up, see around the top and come back. I shall wait here, take my number and go.’
And here I come to the entrance of the steps. Well, I have been to temples that has their main worship areas on the top of hundreds of steps and are much better than this... but as there is no way to go back I left my sandals at the bottom of the hill and moved on...
This looked lovely and made me feel better to go up with barefoot. But actually I didn’t need to take my shoes off here- some pious worshippers only!!
The more you go up, the more beautiful view appears.
Almost at the top!
Here we are!! After all, it is always worthwhile to reach the summit.
There were much more beautiful landscapes that I had to miss because it was too high to walk without any grids and boundaries around.
