This saga has always had a core theme of BALANCE and I think you find that in these two characters and what they bring to each other and what the Force has manifested within them. Cons: Palpatine's return was not needed, the movie retcons too much stuff that happens in the other movies, Finn should have been given more character development, the new characters were unnecessary and for the most part had no development, and the reveal of Rey's parents was fine but the reveal kind came out of nowhere. Also some of the humor just fell flat and felt out of movie has a lot have things going on at times and this can drag the movie on and make it feel rushed. Rise of Skywalker is a decent finale to the saga but has many flaws and it does its best to clean up the mistakes of The Last Jedi.
