Ive been a big fan of The Doors for the last 32 years, and internet is making more and more information available to us all, and their story is not giving enough credit to the various bass players they recorded with. Im in no way dissing the amazing left hand Fender Rhodes Bass Piano playing by Manzarek, its a unique stroke of genius, both the playing and the idea. But honestly, The Doors really needed more bottom end and they used bass not only in the later albums (the obvious The Soft Parade for example) but also in the majority of their early songs! I think it should be talked about too and give the many bass players that recorded with The Doors due credit.
God bless Always Brother.
