Community program " Chado Tea Ceremony"

We led a one-time tea ceremony experience class at one of the Nanaimo community centers. It was offered as part of the winter Parks & Recreation program.

The number of attendants was more than we expected. Participants enjoyed learning about the tea ceremony, its traditions, ideas, and style. They then experienced a tea ceremony itself, drinking ceremonial Matcha tea for the first time, following those traditions and ideas.

It was so busy during the class, we forgot to take photos of the participants enjoying a new experience.
