I’ll tell you about my favorite restaurant and the master. Please read it until the end ne~~

私が紹介するのは、地元、札幌にある「まんま酒場」という居酒屋さんのマスター。

まんま酒場は、私の実家からすぐそばにあって、中学生の頃から父と二人でよく通ってたのさ〜。

ここの料理はもちろんのこと、マスターとママさんが本当に最高で大好きなのさ！

だから、帰省したときには今でも必ず顔を出しているんだぁ〜

“Manma Sakaba” this is my favorite restaurant near my house in my hometown, Sapporo in Hokkaido.

I had gone there many time with my father since junior high school student.

I looooove all dishes and master and mama, so when I come back Sapporo now, I make a point of going to there to eat and to meet them.

みんなにも、この素敵な「まんま酒場」「マスター」のことを知ってほしい！

そして、北海道に来た時は、ぜひ寄ってみてほしいなぁと思って、このテーマにしました。

I want everybody to know how attractive he and his wonderful restaurant are!

AND if you come to Hokkaido, oh yes please meet and eat, so I decided this topic.

This is the picture of master and mama in front of Manma Sakaba. I recharge by watching this picture~~

●マスター、まんま酒場誕生までの物語

　マスターが調理師免許を取得したのは、なんと17歳。ホテルやダイニング、居酒屋さん、イタリアン料理店など様々なお店で働き、料理の腕を上げていったそう。

「20代はとにかくストイックに、人よりも多く働いていたね〜。『色んな大人とコミュニケーションを取って、自分の引き出しを増やす』20代はとにかくこれが大切！経験は宝にしかならないからね、経験を重ねることで、自分にしかできないものが見えてくるんだよ。」

とマスター。

20代後半からは、すすきのにある料理店で働き、2年後にはチーフに。

念願であった「いらっしゃいませ」が直接言える店を！と独立し、現在のまんま酒場をオープンしました！

● Until the Manma Sakaba is opened

Master obtained a cooking qualification just 17 years old. When he was twenties, he improved his cooking skill.

 He cooked many places. For example, hotel, dining, bar & restaurant, and Italian restaurant.

“When I was twenties, I worked so frantically. I always worked twice as hard as anyone.

 I discover many important rule for young that’s young people have to communicate with various adults and increase own drawers. Experience only have own treasure. As you gain various experiences, you can see things that only you can do.”

Said Master. 

When he was late twenties, he cooked the restaurant at Susukino in Sapporo, after 2 years, he became chief chef at this restaurant. His long- sought dream is “cooking my restaurant and I wanna say face-to-face welcome for customer.” So he opened Manma Sakaba.

マスターが関東の居酒屋さんから影響を受け、3ヶ月毎日試行錯誤を重ね誕生した、自慢の一品。

This is specialty in Manma Sakaba “The Stew of beef for men”

That menu was influenced bar & restaurant in Kanto, Master cooked by trial and error to make satisfying taste 3 month.

● マスターのエネルギーは一体どこから？？

　お店に入るだけで、マスターと話すだけでいつもパワーをもらうことができるのさ。

それは一体なぜ？マスターのエネルギー源について聞いてみたよ〜

「繁忙期とか年末とかお祭りの時とか確かにすごく体力的にキツイけど、どんなに歳をとっても20代の頃ストイックにやっていたから、身体が自然と覚えてるんだよね〜〜」

「あとは、犬と音楽かな〜どんなに疲れていても、愛犬が待っててくれてるから頑張れるんだよなぁ。」

エネルギー源、癒しは人それぞれ。私にとってのエネルギー源は・・・まんま酒場かなぁ〜（直接は恥ずかしくて言えないけどネ）みんなのエネルギー源は何かな？？

● Where is Master’s Energy??

I always gave master powerful energy just enter in this restaurant. Why? I asked his energy source.

“Peak season, year-end, festival, these situation are so hard for me physically. BUT my body remember my works because I worked stoically when I was young, so the body moves on its own naturally.”

“AND I looove dogs and music. That’s my energy source of my mental My lovely wonderful dog waits me in my house, so I can cook hard everyday. That’s my energy source.”

What’s your energy source?? Everyone have their own energy source and healing.

 My energy source is… Manma Sakaba~~!! (I can’t say that directly for Master hahaha)

● 最後に、マスターから今読んでいる君へ。

「荒削りでいいから、自分の本当に好きなことを悩まず、目標を持って、本気で、一生懸命やろう。全部最後は自分の宝物になるから、今はとにかく経験を重ねて引き出しを増やそう！」

色々な経験をして、色々な人と出会って、自分の目標を持って突き進む。これに尽きると仰っていました。さすが様々な経験をもとに夢を叶えたマスター、言葉の重みが全然違う！

マスターらしい、力強くカッコいいお言葉、本当にありがとうございました。

● Last, Message for you

“It’s OK unrefined. Let’s do with all one’s might seriously having goal. You don’t have to worry your favorite things. At last, all things are your shiny treasure. Let’s increase your drawers to do various experiences!!”

To do various experiences, To meet various people, To charge hard first towards your dream. This sums up everything. Massage from Master is very deep for me. I felt this massage embodied Master. Thank you so much!!

↑写真撮らせてくださいって言ったら、ずっとこの顔のマスター。本当にお茶目でユーモアのある方なんです。

I said” Please take Master’s photo!”, he kept this funny face. Master is very playful humorous person.

日頃の悩みや将来への不安、「あーあ、なんなのさ！」って感じる時誰にでもあると思う。でもさ、こんなに素敵にキラキラ輝いていて、夢を全力で叶えている大人をみると、なんだか力が湧いてきませんか。私はマスターみたいな、好きなこと、夢、目標に向かって全力で駆け抜ける大人になりたい！！

あぁ〜マスターに会いたくてウズウズしてきちゃった笑

この長い長〜い春休み、ずっとやりたかったこと、普段忙しくて後回しだったこと、沢山やろう！

はがはね〜、溜まってた読みたい本たっくさん読む！あと、靴のペイントとか、お庭づくりとか、いっぱいやるつもりださ！

How was this article? I hope you can catch Master’s energy! I think everyone have worries, insecurities, resentments. BUT, when you meet shiny adult like Master, you feel gradually get better.
