[5] Plot [ edit] Abhinav "Chintu" Tyagi ( Kartik Aaryan) is an ordinary, middle-class man from Kanpur married to Vedika Tripathi ( Bhumi Pednekar). 3 years into marriage, he is bored in his day-to-day life and suddenly finds comfort in Tapasya Singh ( Ananya Panday), a young wannabe fashion designer from Delhi he met at his office, who is related to his boss and briefly came to select a plot for starting her fashion business. From the day Tapasya compliments him about his smile, Chintu finds himself drawn towards Tapasya and decides to enjoy his life. However, one fateful day, Vedika learns the truth and sees them together. She does not tell Chintu that she knows of his infidelity, and seeing him lying to her of throwing her off the scent, she leaves home early to attend her cousin Kanupriya's wedding. Chintu then goes to Tapasya's home in Delhi and meets her friends. The two go to a nightclub where Tapasya gets him drunk. Upon returning to Tapasya's home, Tapasya is ready to move their relationship to the next level by kissing Chintu, who in his drunken state. Tapasya seduces Chintu in a very romantic way. They were almost about to kiss, but Chintu is held by his conscience. Chintu realizes he has wronged Vedika, but it is too late, as at Kanupriya's wedding, a drunken Vedika meets her ex-boyfriend Doga. Depressed, she dances with him in the drunken state. Vedika tells Chintu, upon return, that she is leaving him and knows of his infidelity. Chintu is heartbroken and goes to visit Vedika's parents but she is not there. He sees the letter written by her which clearly states that she is eloping with his Doga. Chintu becomes a different man and trashes Doga's travel agency. He is locked up for a night when his friend Rizvi bails him out. Chintu finds out Vedika is leaving the country and frantically drives to the airport with the police chasing him. At the airport, Chintu finds Vedika, Tapasya and Doga. He tries to stop Vedika and finds out it is Doga who is going to Canada. He learns that this was a plan to make him realize Vedika's worth. In the end, Vedika forgives him and they reconcile, thus living happily ever after. Finally, the film ends with the scene of another girl, Neha Khanna, coming into Chintu's office. Chintu is initially surprised, but immediately restrains himself. Seriously? This Karthik guy very openly claimed he could have done better acting in Andha Dhun than Ayushman, what a joke! This rabbit face gives same expressions in every movie, regardless of his role and I unfortunately have seen his 3 movies so far. Forget about the movie of this story, we all know it was predictable but what made it worst was his pathetic acting 🙄 cringe worthy for sure. Please don't waste your time.

However, this bicycle itself brings him face-to-face with Sharda, when he bumps into her by accident. Sharda's bicycle gets badly damaged & Ranjeet drops her off. The same evening, Ranjeet goes to the wedding of his friend Abdul Karim Durrani ( Asrani), a co-worker & a poet. Sharda is also present at the ceremony. Sharda & Ranjeet's love blossoms from there & soon they get married. In the course of a few years, Ranjeet is Sales Manager of the company and father of a son. Sharda & Ranjeet are still living in marital bliss. That is, until Nirmala, Ranjeet's new secretary, shows up. Ranjeet is inexplicably attracted to Nirmala. She is an honest girl who is trying to make two ends meet. She is much more beautiful compared to Sharda. But most of all, she knows nothing about Ranjeet's true intentions & his married life. Ranjeet is initially upset with his thoughts about her, but finally gives in. He carefully plans his further steps. He pretends to be the helpless grieving husband of a cancer stricken wife, who won't live much longer. Nirmala feels sorry for him, thus making it easier for him to get close to her. She immediately confronts Ranjeet, who makes up a story about a co-worker whose handkerchief he may have accidentally taken. Sharda reluctantly believes him.
