[5] Plot [ edit] Abhinav "Chintu" Tyagi ( Kartik Aaryan) is an ordinary, middle-class man from Kanpur married to Vedika Tripathi ( Bhumi Pednekar). 3 years into marriage, he is bored in his day-to-day life and suddenly finds comfort in Tapasya Singh ( Ananya Panday), a young wannabe fashion designer from Delhi he met at his office, who is related to his boss and briefly came to select a plot for starting her fashion business. From the day Tapasya compliments him about his smile, Chintu finds himself drawn towards Tapasya and decides to enjoy his life. However, one fateful day, Vedika learns the truth and sees them together. She does not tell Chintu that she knows of his infidelity, and seeing him lying to her of throwing her off the scent, she leaves home early to attend her cousin Kanupriya's wedding. Chintu then goes to Tapasya's home in Delhi and meets her friends. The two go to a nightclub where Tapasya gets him drunk. Upon returning to Tapasya's home, Tapasya is ready to move their relationship to the next level by kissing Chintu, who in his drunken state. Tapasya seduces Chintu in a very romantic way. They were almost about to kiss, but Chintu is held by his conscience. Chintu realizes he has wronged Vedika, but it is too late, as at Kanupriya's wedding, a drunken Vedika meets her ex-boyfriend Doga. Depressed, she dances with him in the drunken state. Vedika tells Chintu, upon return, that she is leaving him and knows of his infidelity. Chintu is heartbroken and goes to visit Vedika's parents but she is not there. He sees the letter written by her which clearly states that she is eloping with his Doga. Chintu becomes a different man and trashes Doga's travel agency. He is locked up for a night when his friend Rizvi bails him out. Chintu finds out Vedika is leaving the country and frantically drives to the airport with the police chasing him. At the airport, Chintu finds Vedika, Tapasya and Doga. He tries to stop Vedika and finds out it is Doga who is going to Canada. He learns that this was a plan to make him realize Vedika's worth. In the end, Vedika forgives him and they reconcile, thus living happily ever after. Finally, the film ends with the scene of another girl, Neha Khanna, coming into Chintu's office. Chintu is initially surprised, but immediately restrains himself. Karthik Aryan is future of Indian cinema. Bhumi pednekar is mindblowing. Tara Sutaaria shines in her role.Aparshakti khurana nailed his character once again. Don't miss this family entertainer. Such movies came once in a year. Hats off to entire team for giving such entertaining package in 2 hours.
