I managed to stay until the end hoping for an explanatory denouement. Thus, I left the movie theater both frustrated and disappointed.
TBH so are the other tracks too, they capture the childishness of these children exploring the world and the wonder that comes with it, so different from what an adult would feel. But it marries that so perfectly with the world-shakingness of the ideas and how Big it all feels to any person. What a movie. I relaly love umi and sora but mah heart😭💔.
