For a fan made trailer, this is actually pretty well done. And hidden in the work of David Lynch, there truly was a gem, faithful to the book. Thank you Spicediver for having spent the time and effort to bring it to light. This is the ultimate version of Dune for me now. Nice job of editing. I also like the final few seconds when you cut Alia's rather stupid statement of the obvious and replaced it with the overlay quote. Somehow that seems more powerful to me.
Given how Sting is I bet he had a ball with Patrick not knowing who he was. He said fan made on the description though. Star wars was good(before Disney)Dune is genius.

How have I only found this now! Brilliantly done, thank you. He was like the Notting Hill character asking Julia Robert's character about her acting jobs. Beautiful little girl now a meow woman. A musician met one of the most celebrated actors of his generation Sting who. Seems this could be into the future, or an ancient past timeline. I know how it was written by Herbert, but it could have been either since the Earth was previously devastated by a pre-Noah catastrophe. He opened the way for the storm fronts to cross over. The books are more clear on his powers. The legendary Red Foremans gom jabbar is his foot always ready to fly into your ass in a moments notice. Test him at your peril... I always wondered, where did they get the band from? Like they just had a group of drummers hanging out with the fighting army.
This is the channel which encouraged me to explore more of the DUNE universe and eventually led me to get the first Frank Herbert book in the series. So far, I am quite enjoying it. Thanks for all your DUNE videos and I can't wait to see the movie next year (as well as your latest book analysis.
