For the most part, I was pretty impressed with Contagion. It is something in between a "normal" film and a documentary. I think that the cinematography and editing are well handled, and of course the large ensemble cast of big-name actors helps in terms of immediate interest and accessibility. (I especially love Jennifer Ehle, and was glad to see her in a key role.) Beware, if you are squeamish, there are a few intense moments; easy enough to look away, but just a heads up. The best thing about this film, in my opinion, is how thought-provoking it is, with regards to "what would you do" in the event of an actual epidemic. Of course, the CDC/scientist angle is covered, as well as the experiences of random affected individuals, but I also appreciated the attention given to the media/public relations side of things. Some difficult ethical questions are raised. The film is not a complete downer, but it is very sobering. I have seen others' criticism of Marion Cotillard's story arc; I agree that it is perhaps a bit far-fetched. But overall, Contagion is quite a compelling creation, hard to pull your attention away from as it tracks its subject matter across the screen.
I loved the movie's score. Axonek3 you Arabic. Maybe she should take some of that snake oil she sells. I loved this movie sooooo much as an inspiring virologist, I was happy to see they we not scared away by the truth of how easy it would be to wipe out mankind with something small enough to fit billons on the tip of a pencil. Could someone send me a print of the radial of the game. I'm tryin to develope one. but I'm out of ideas xD. UPDATED THEORY :Pressure happens, Matt is aware of the Simulation Theory, is trying to fight the system already in secret. He is not an ordinary human. Terry Crews realizes whats going on during the events of Pressure, does full research and builds the necessary equipment and alters his DNA so he can pass beyond the system walls. Upon arrival to the top, he sees Matts video of Simulation Theory, which he unplugs. However, Matt had actually hacked the system to send a different message than intended, urging people to “Dig Down, find faith” as we see in the Dig Down video. He can hack into computers and tvs. When Terry unplugs the game, assuming Matthew is bad at this point, Matt realizes something is off. He rewatches the events of Pressure through his VR glasses at the beginning of Something Human, to try to find out who else couldve hacked the system. He realizes he needs further proof to enlighten people, so he decides to take the tap to the Retrograde Video store, where he either stores his proof or something like that. On his way, Law Enforcement ( Dom and Chris, who seem to be reprogrammed. He hacks into the system in the Dark Side, while trying to be stopped by the Creator through gigantic hands and stuff. Because Matt isnt a typical human, he can transform himself and fight his way through. Meanwhile, the survivors inside the school are losing themselves, becoming part monster (as seen in Break it to Me. The only survivor to make it out alive and survive is later attacked in the Thought Contagion video to shut him up (I believe this is before the events of Something Human and the Dark Side, as Matt had made finding the kid a priority until the game was unplugged by Crews) He had seen too much. Whether he made it out alive or not is still under question, but Matt is definitely looking for him.
30 days of night. When there's a vampire epidemic then the military comes in to save you but they start dancing with the vampires. I love when all you need for a global epidemic is a Home depot dust mask. And cuts down on the budget instead of using Level A suits.

The ironic part of this song is that the comment section is secretly falling victim to Thought Contagion. Free stream nakkusaur. Look, don't insult this guy, he was super sick, obviously his head was flying and he couldn't think, why would he be thinking logically about whether he could have infected someone? it's not like he had the flu, you know. Dang it! I wanted this to be longer! Loved this.
Idk what the fuss is about. Sounds like classic Muse. Wow, look at all these people here who know for a fact that when they have a pounding headache and have just been told by the CDC that they have a infectious disease, they will have the presence of mind to not absent-mindedly reach out and touch a pole for support on a moving bus. The virus in contagion may be inspired by real events but the virus itself is beyond far fetched. They're basically making the argument that a new unknown virus will emerge that has the interhuman communicability of influenza, the lethality of at least smallpox (actually as depicted it approaches marburg) and an incubation period shorter than anything else observed. The extremely short incubation period would aid in containment because the infected could be identified and quarantined rapidly so the epidemic would tend to burn itself out. Also the breakdown in services is unrealistic because if the virus actually had a mortality rate similar to smallpox then there would be survivors that could resume work without fear of infection.
