一日一新の11日目。今日は新しいかき氷をつくる。去年はかき氷ブームで、長瀞の阿佐美冷蔵に行ったり、台湾のマンゴー村である玉井でマンゴーかき氷を食べたりした。今年は残念ながらコロナで食べにはいけないので自家製にチャレンジだ。牛乳に練乳を入れたものを凍らせるのが好きなのだが、今回は抹茶かき氷をつくってみた。小さい頃抹茶かき氷を頼む理由がわからなかったけれど、歳をとると食べたくなるものだ。抹茶パウダーに砂糖を入れ、牛乳で割ったものを凍らせる。その氷をサクサク削り、つくった白玉団子と粒あんをのせて完成。ああもう夏だな。
Day 11 of doing something new everyday. Today I make new shaved ice. Last year, it was my shaved ice boom, I went to Asami-Reizo in Nagatoro and ate mango shaved ice in Tamai, a mango village in Taiwan. Unfortunately this year I can't eat them out because of corona, so I'll try making it homemade. I like freezing condensed milk in milk, but this time I made matcha shaved ice. When I was little, I didn't know why someone ordered matcha shaved ice, but when I grow old, I want to eat it. I put sugar in matcha powder and pour milk into it to freeze. I crisp the ice and put the white dumplings and grain sauce on it. Ah, it's already summer.
