I just noticed this, when the mother first helped the old housekeeper in pushing the cabinet. To open the door to the basement and she rolls over is like a parallelism to the latter part of the movie where the mother kicked the old housekeeper down and she rolls over again. I don't even know where to start. This movie is a roller-coaster ride. First, you'll laugh at how witty the family is then feel really really nervous in the basement part and when the poor family is cleaning all the mess they made. Then the dark concept started to rise during the flood. I literally had goosebumps all over my body when they started killing each other at the party. Never expected the brutal scenes. When I started watching this movie I thought I will laugh all the way out because of the funny scenes of the poor family but damn! This movie is the true meaning of unpredictable. The ending is unpredictable. I am actually speechless when the movie ends. Parasite is far fron what I expected. It raised my standards when it comes to movies. I can't stop thinking about it! When I read about the different symbolism used in this movie I was in total shock. This will definitely be one of my all time fave movies. The whole team did a great job! This comment is not enough to describe the feeling and experience after watching the film. Will definitely rewatch this.

The movie starts with warm fuzzy feeling and a bit of laughter here and there. Leaves you with such a disturbing thoughts in the end. The movie shift comedy into dark horror just like that... One of the most powerful thing that a film maker can do, leaves you feeling off/disturbed. The Best movie I've seen so far 2019/2020 no doubt. I needed to sleep on everything and think about it all last night. I'm still not done thinking. This movie was so incredibly brilliant. Smooth, natural, high tension. It changes tones completely at least 4 times, and every bit of cinematography in this movie is perfect. The music, subtle enough in scenes and whimsical, makes the entire scene turns sour when just that subtle violin or another abrasive string plays quietly, a single instrument shifts the scenes color completely. No loose ends in this movie, and every person here feels like a real and genuine human you might find on shameless, or at times it felt like Veep or Parks and rec with how characters talk to each other, very down to earth and relatable. This movie is beyond engaging, delivering funny lines perfectly, while other times perfectly capturing the moment of horror and fear. This movie is a must watch, it's hard not to appreciate the work and ideas put into this film after viewing it. 11/10 Recommend.
