If you like action and special effects, with no care about the outcome. this is for you. If you're looking for a plot with meaning/depth and a authentic star wars movie. you're not going to like this.
It has its moments but once again Disney banked on just having epic moments instead of a story, funny one liners, over the top special fx and nostelgia trips which ran its course after The Force Awakens. Bringing back once again, even some from the dead, original cast members, and not giving them the send off they deserved. The epic moments didnt pay off either, especially the Ray arch and her origin. There is no originality, they've essentially taken key moments from the original trilogy and applied it to the different characters, only tweaking them slightly. They've mugged me off for the last time with this franchise.
Hollywood: the geriatric years. No mention of Coming To America 2 or No Time To Die - definitely looking forward to Bad Boys For Life, Ford vs Ferrari and The King's Man et cetera. Episode 9 needs to be amazing. If it fails, well I guess we still have the other 6 movies and of course the clone wars. 2019: taking one last look 2022: just kidding. Why in the universe would the tie fighter try to run her over WHEN IT HAS LAZERGUNS AND MISSILES. It would be cool if the “ghost” from rebels was in the ship scene. If you think about it, his beginning sum up of the theory is actually pretty close to the actual plan Palpatine had...
Great music for a great movie.
Thanos: I am inevitable Tony: Im about to do whats called a pro gamer move.
' the saga comes to an end. until another, or the same corporation, decides they're low on funds and make another trilogy.
Thank christ this shit's almost over. Star Wars: The Force Correction.
I'm a casual Star Wars fan and don't want to hate on movies for crazy reasons. But i found the last movie in the series pretty bad and I could of gone either way on this latest (last? effort.
This one is definetly better than the last one, but unfortunately (good effects aside) the movie is lacking in the story department, and the things I found promising about "the Force awakens" have long been forgotten. With even the nostalgia that worked in that movie now feeling desperate.
Despite there being plenty of action and some cool twists and ideas. It all feels very forced. I really don't care about most of these characters, some of the Jedi stuff is dumb/makes no sence, and It all feels very humourless, unlikely and anticlimactic. Not terrible but far from amazing.
Me when I heard Palpatines laugh: A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one. Gonna see it again this weekend. for the 4th time.
“Kenobi gets to keep his glorious mullet” 😂🤣🤣. Me: knows its the last movie Also me: prays for an episode 10, 11, and 12. Rey is genetically a palpatine, but no one wants to be a Hitler LMAO.
