Heath Ledger was the best joker and you cant change my mind

I must say that it certainly wasn't a bad movie. It for sure hits my top 10 list, though I'm not sure where. If you are just reading reviews looking for if it's worth a watch, let me just stop you right here. Watch this movie. You'll most definitely enjoy it. I waited about 2 years from hearing about this movie, till I finally decided to give it a try, a I was not disappointed.

This Joker performance was next level. Aggressive expansion, he wasn't lying about that lol. I came for 5:07 onwards. Why it is so addictive.

I have to say the hype about this movie was much bigger than it should have been. I found it quite confusing that the story was quite hard to follow and the cutting was not good at all in my opinion.
Christian Bale didn't deliver again, for me he doesn't seem like a good actor at all, you can actually see that he's just trying to act in most of his scenes, nothing original there, he's just saying the lines he has to say. Almost no emotions at all. And it was quite funny how drastically his voice changed when dressed as Batman, it was ridiculous.
The only thing (the only person) who saved this movie in my opinion was Heath Ledger, his performance was quite good, he was intense, you really felt entertained when he stepped on the scene. Watching him play as the Joker was the only good part of this movie in my opinion. he actually sort of waked me up when he appeared, those where the only parts of the movie when everybody was strictly paying attention to what was happening.
And I don't really know why didn't they stick with Katie Holmes as Rachel, Maggie Gyllenhaal to me wasn't pretty at all, and she's not as good as Katie anyway. That was so disappointing for me.
To sum up things, there were couple of good scenes in the movie, but it was too long. And if you feel like the movie is too long, that means the viewer loses interest in the story while watching, well that's what happened to most of the viewers in the cinema as far as I saw it. The flow of the movie was also not really good, it was hard to stay focused what was exactly happening in some scenes and why was it happening that way.
Even Batman Begins was better than this movie...

Whos still watching this in the current date? Looks like everyone, cause this film is a masterpiece. I love how the start of this scene is silent as all the police vehicles are driving. Then you start to hear the Jokers theme creep its way in to let you know hes about to strike. Epic. I hated it when they killed the Tumbler/Batmobile. Hanz Zimmer is GOD coz he takes me to heaven every time I listen to his music. Interstellar is my all time favourite- from getting my focus to studying to even running marathons- his music is pure dope.

I watched the dark knight last evening and I was, again, in awe by the performance of Heath Ledger. Sorry, Joaquín Phoenix and Jack Nicholson, but this has always been the best Joker performance. If I met this monster on the street, I would literally shit my pants. He is so freaking scary. That character was so scary that Heath Ledger couldn‘t sleep at night! So sorry about what happened with him! I think there has to be a Psychologist guiding actors if they loose themselves in their role and become too obsessed with the character! I wish he wouldnt have played the Joker, if we knew that he wasnt gonna be able to handle it. He did an amazing job, but I guess it was too much to handle for sweet, sensitive, beautiful and lovely Heath. RIP, sweetheart. I guess Hollywood is still shocked and it all came back to them at this years Oscars when Joaquin thanked Heath Ledger! His words were amazing! I got goosebumps. I have always loved the Batman movies, especially by Christopher Nolan, I think since I was a little girl! And I loved „Kissed by a rose“ by Seal and the video to it. I was so happy when Seal and Heidi came together and I imagined him singing this song to her! Heidi Klum is one of my idols, not because I always wanted to be a model, but because I just love her personality! Anyways, I liked Christian Bale as a very handsome Batman, as well, but Heath is just always incredible! You are greatly missed, beautiful Heath! I also loved your performance in „10 things I hate about you“ and in „The Patriot“! I love your very „manly“ singing and speaking voice and I could listen to you talk all day! Oh how I love deep man‘s voices! Haha! And I love the Soundtrack by Hans Zimmer! He is such a musical genius! And I loved R Kellys soundtrack to the former Batman movies.

When i kill a bug inside my house 4:00. 3:50 “Harvey, Harvey, Harvey Dent. Oh, scuse me! I wanna drive.”. I infact never paid attention to a scene the joker was not in, in my opinion this was 100% Heaths movie... his acting is so surreal. No mention of a superior musical score? Nor it's iconic quotes and the amazing ending.

ONE OF THE GREATEST CHASES I HAVE EVER SEEN ❤❤❤❤. After all the hype and anticipation surrounding this movie i finally went and saw it last night. I really enjoyed parts of the movie, and the script was very well written.
The performance from Heath Ledger was brilliant and made the movie for me. Bale and Eckhart's acting fall short in comparison. If you look at The dark knight as a pure action movie it's the best of its genre, hands down. But when people start comparing it to the greatest movies in cinematic history i don't follow. I don't get why everyone is calling so very dark? it's no darker then the last batman movie in any sense. It would have been dark if the people on the boats killed each other in the end, but that would have been morally wrong.
The dark knight has surpassed The godfather trilogy and several other greats like Shindlers list and Casablanca on the IMDb rating system by a mile. Doesn't this seem very odd to anyone else? It seems like I'm the only one (or one of a few) to criticize this seemingly wonderful masterpiece. The short answer to why this movie is so successful is because of the amens advertising campaigns and hysterical hype, also the tragic death of Heath Ledger. One could of course debate and argue other reasons, but to me its a top-notch action movie with a great storyline and no more, and that's very far from even being a contender for the greatest movie in cinematic history.

I really can't stop watching 3:48 😂 absolute nutjob. 2:49 Subtle little moments like the hmm that Joker does are what make him so great. I like how he knocks someone out by punching a motorcycle helmet, while the plastic visor shatters like glass. Simple answer : Heath ledger. Its terrifying how he tells a different story to every person on how he got his scars.
