Nurse Annie Wilkes giving the Oscar to Dr. Hannibal Lecter. That's just awsome. Hopkins was by far better choice for Hannibal, i can't imagine anyone other than him in this role. I bought it for hd n when i try to watch it in hd it says somethings wrong its dumb. Superbly terrifying ~ the way in which you become Clarice Starling in this scene is incredible ~ her realisation of being within the company of a flaying, murdering, unpredictable psychopath. Once he can no longer contain his laughter, her eyes inform you of the terrible danger she is in. Absolutely incredible.

This story so fore-tells the Advent of killers like Ted Bundy in the 1970's. the rise of serial-killers in the 1960's-1990's.
