I saw the film after the limited release was lifted, amazing, heart wrenching, powerful, i was as emotionally drained as the actor at the end of the film. So so so good. Just saw this and when they're in the field and trench was thinking wow this is a really good long shot then they left the trench and it kept going.

Thoughts on a second viewing of 1917.

Not many films entice me to the cinema these days but I'm certain I will make the effort to see this. The level of production looks incredible. Whya arent their a lot of ww1 movies. Just saw this in theaters, the gunshots were so loud... never heard anything like them before. Awesome video. This is an amazing movie, I just watched it.
