My favorite movie. One of the best ever made. Both of them, Tim and Morgan are marvellous. You know a grown man is scared when he calls for his mother. Why he chose to escape on Taco Night, I'll never know... Ive watched this movie about 100 times on other streaming channels, but would never pay YouTube prices. I had your momma! She werent that great XD. This movie is from other world, nothing more to say. A film about freedom. not only because the story has as scene a prison. but for the force and grace and precise of creation freedom of actors and director, ideas and dialogs, whole script and special emotions of viewer. it is a rare film because it represents more than brilliant acting or smart script. it is a homage for basic values and eulogy to friendship. it is representation of a form of revolution who can be considered fruit of a different religious perception. it seems be perfect. and this is key to be more than a good/interesting film but an extraordinary cinema lesson. Red, Rita Hayworth poster and Andy Dufresne. that is all. at first sigh.

"Hope is a good thing and no good thing ever dies. This one line of the film says it all, this movie is all about hope, and things which you can relate to in your life. I became a huge fan of Freeman after watching this movie. Movie is bit slow in starting but builds up pace quickly. You start flowing with Andy and have a connect with him as the movie progresses. The story goes like this- Andy is send for life time imprisonment for allegedly killing his wife and her boyfriend,in jail first few years were really bad but slowly he starts to find friend and also some work. If I tell more than the whole suspense will come out. The emotions carried out in each seen by red and Andy has been superb.
Its a must watch.

To be honest it's better than forest gump and pulp fiction. How does this have 250 dislikes? wtf. Andy Dufrense. The man who crawled through a river of shit and came out clean on the other side. 'Mr. Krabs can I have a raise? 2:46 - 3:12. A scene that is funny and sad at the same time. As a kid i watched this episode plenty of times and thought it was great. i finally watched the movie and its so much funnier.
