Parents need to know that Alita: Battle Angel is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi action movie about a resurrected teen cyborg named Alita (Rosa Salazar). Expect lots of fantasy violence and fighting, including punching, stabbing, slicing, death, and blood (both red human and blue cyborg). Female characters, including Alita, are sexualized and objectified, sometimes in an unsettling way. There's some flirting and kissing between Alita and a young man. Language includes one "f--k" and infrequent use of other words like "crap" and "piss. " A secondary character drinks whisky in more than one scene, and a young man mentions having had a bit too much. Co-written by James Cameron, directed by Robert Rodriguez, and based on a manga by Yukito Kishiro, the movie is a guaranteed slam-dunk for fans of the above, but for others, it may feel lifeless and overly reliant on visual effects.

One of the best movies I've seen. Alita is a wonderful character with which you are sure to fall in love with. Go see it.

@ 1:38:10. 11/11/19 if your watching in the future we have been warned about all the floors of darkness. Wait, alita was only 17 when she became a soldier. This movie is literally how i imagined it would be totally awesome except for the villain looks could have been more dark still i liked the character NO i think i love the character ALITA hoping for the sequel soon not wanna wait for 5 10 years. In time you'll remember Song: I remember blah blah That's how to cinematography folks. High level detail to the finest strand of hair draws alot of attention to each non-human character like an intricately designed tattoo. Even those in minor roles become embedded into the story due to their unique visual qualities.
A multitude of good actors, a little bit of love and comedy with a heap of action balances out the story to present it as a nice little package.
I would not normally promote 3D because I feel that it blurs the action and darkens the screen. However this movie was perfectly adapted to 3D and I never found the effect to be a hindrance in any way. I experienced this in Vmax at Pacific Fair.

I watched this trailer, and Im more confused than before. What the heck did I just watch? Something about a demonic ballerina. The film was an almost exact clone of this OVA. As a huge fan of the original “Susperia” by Dario Argento and Daria Nicolodi, I was a bit disappointed by this film at first. It felt like a watercolored ripoff of a masterpiece. However, as I watched it I began to see that in order to enjoy it, one must see it as a completely different film that borrows heavily from both Argento and TED Kleins book “The Ceremonies.” With that said, its a decent Horror flick but definitely not original. Fans of Argento might be a bit underwhelmed...

TRANSFORMERS:G1 POOP IT'S MOVIE COOL 8/10 MEGATRON LIKE IS. I am in tears. This trailer is amazing but nothing compared to the actual movie, I NEED THE SEQUEL NOW. RR has been here for years.
But really though, outstanding. A must see. I didn't know what to expect... I think I sat through that entire trailer with my mouth (Standing Slow Clap. I had heard some reviews about Alita, all positive.I was not bothered with the big Manga eyes as many were. It was a very good mix of action, suspense, personal growth and struggles. She was very well portrayed by Rosa Salazar and the cast did their part to make this film a very enjoyable flick. The end seemed a bit rushed and i wondered how it would end in the time it had left and then it was the credits and i wanted part 2. I hope the sequel happens. A very good film, well done everyone.
