My baby sister saw the last air bender on Nickelodeon once and she said “that movie was cool I liked it!” My brother and I froze then looked at her. My brother: “are you kidding? Its trash!” My sister: “no its not!” Me: “hold up! This horrendous travesty must be fixed! We do NOT speak of that movie in this house!” So I went upstairs and brought down the Avatar series and made her watch it. Now all is right with the world and she hates the Last Airbender movie too.
The fact that Caucasians are playing what are supposed to be Asian characters makes it pretty clear that this was going to be a terrible movie. As a fan of the show, I watched this movie at eleven and spent the whole run time in fight or flight mode.

When I first saw the movie back then. .I didnt get why people hated the I got done watching the animated show today 🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️🤦🏽♂️. You would hate it more if you watched the show. Fire is the best just because it is cool🔥. Aang is a liar golden opportunity missed to make a truth bending joke. I watched this when i was young so i was cool with the acting. I see what you did there with the Thumbnail.

This was the worst movie ever. The TV show was amazing 👌. Tom Cruise: No one takes bigger life threatening risks than me Cinemasins. The Song at 0:55 is Lonely Dusk by Methodic Doubt.
Azula is really the only person in this series who doesnt care about the avatar state
There was earth everywhere in the prison I know that even in the show the earth benders didnt have hope and they had a reason not to (mainly because the earth benders were on a METAL ship preventing them from bending any earth around them. They really thought they could pack an entire emotionally charged season into one tiny movie on top of the fact that fun loving, jokster, sometimes serious Sokka is now completely serious sad sack Sokka. Oh and the lovable, goofy, heartwarming Aang is now a childish, pretentious, sad sack. The Fire Lord is lame, Zuko as well as his barely there scar is lame and the earth bending is mindbogglingly stupid and lame. Mispronounced names like Soaka were they trying to say Sucka. Everybody say it with me, Please don't let the live action Netflix adaptation suck.
You have to do the episode with Uncle Iroh where he breaks free from prison. Sry but avatar cant be real life version it just looks awfull. I've never seen this movie, or anything related to Avatar. And I'm honestly baffled at how great these trailers are for a seemingly awful movie. I just finished watching Avatar: The Last Air Bender for the first time, despite it being created in my generation (24 years-old right now. I must say, when I saw this movie WITHOUT knowing the series it was sucky enough. But now that I'm back... I can't even believe that then fans of the series even gave this movie the time of day. This trailer is a monstrosity...
I think you're mistaken? there was never an avatar movie... People: Goku vs Jiren is the most anticipated fight in anime history! Me, an intellectual. So nobody is talking about how they cant firebend unless theres fire available or they have fire stick? Edit: I wrote this before it was mentioned. It's kinda cute how they think they were gonna make 3 of these things BRUH.
