Optimism prevailed at even the darkest times. Makes you want to stand up and fight for what is right. Maybe a different director could have saved this movie. The story is interesting, the acting is good but the pace is so slow. By the time the courtroom scenes happen my husband was completely checked out. There is never any real dramatic music or quicker paced scenes... everything is pretty monotone, with bland scenery and really boring wardrobe. I would have liked someone to have a personality, a little humor, interesting ything. It's unfortunate because the last 10 minutes are the highlight of the film but most probably won't make it to the end.
