Pacific Ocean View From Hot Spring (Onsen)
This is Ibaraki prefecture which is located in north-east from Tokyo. It takes about 2 hours from Tokyo using the express and local train.
The reason why the writer visited here is that I want to have this hot spring, we call in Japanese "Onsen".
Here is Isohara seaside hotel at Isohara station.
The above photo was taken in the early morning.(before sunrise)
If you are lucky I mean the weather is good, you can see the sunrise in Onsen.
At night, we can see the stars but please watch your step at night in winter due to the slippery floor.
This Onsen is good for neuralgia, muscle pain, digestive disease, coldness and so on....
This is a landmark of this area (Kita-Ibaraki city) in this above photo. This is a desert island (reef) "Hutatsu-shima". The island was cut because of the big earthquake on 11 March 2011. Now 2/3 big compared to the previous one . The people say that it looks like a elephant. This area is popular for a power spot. You can swim in this beach in summer but it depends on the situation so please check it on the website.

Here is a Japanese sake brewer. Morishima brewer is in Jyuou station which is 3 stops from Isohara station.
Morishima brewer is 150 years old and now the 6th owner manage it.
The writer is an international sake sommelier so asked to see inside and the process to make Japanese sake.
If you want, you can see it and also you can buy Japanese sake here. It is reasonable compared to buy at shops. You can taste them if you want.
Honestly around this Isohara area, there are not so many shops or sightseeing spots. However, you can be relaxed and take your time with stress free.
No crowd, just a big ocean you will have.
