I watched Interstellar about four days ago, and, my god, it was good! Christopher Nolan really outdid himself on this one, ladies and gentlemen. Of course known for his other masterpieces, such as: Inception, Memento, and The Prestige; Interstellar, in my opinion, affects the viewer to a far greater extent. This picture elegantly mixes emotion and drama, with more complex topics in physics and cosmology. And, unlike in his other movies, the audience should have a little knowledge on a specific subject, which in this case is physics. Nolan incorporates things like Newtons Third Law, the gravitational slingshot effect, and pressure equalization. Anyone reading this that has seen the movie, should be able to pinpoint where these factors are presented. Nevertheless, taking a look at the emotional aspect, I would say one really becomes attached to the characters brought forth in Interstellar. The fact that Cooper leaves his daughter at the start of the movie, and does not see her until the end, where she is dying, really hit me hard. Furthermore, the ultimate of this picture, was when it unveiled the plot twist of it being Cooper giving the signals to his daughter at the start of the movie, through the bookshelf. This meant that the whole thing was a never-ending cycle of happenings, which involves Coop leaving and attempting to stop himself from leaving. It is hard to explain on IMDb, but it truly was a unique idea! Although, there were some unanswered questions (which Nolan always includes in his movies i.e. Inception) such as: who are 'they. etc. I still rated this movie 10/10 because it just was so different from anything else I had seen.
