• synopsis After an elegant nuptial ceremony at the lavish manor of the uber-wealthy Le Domas clan, the gentle groom, Alex Le Domas, informs his blissful young bride, Grace, that the ceremony is far from over yet, and there's still a long night ahead of them. Before long, as part of a macabre long-standing family tradition, Grace will have to play a seemingly innocent game, and hide somewhere in the vast mansion's cavernous halls and labyrinthine corridors, until dawn. Now, whether Grace is ready or not, the armed-to-the-teeth Domases are coming for her, and it's going to get ugly. Does well to navigate a balance between comedy horror and satire. At times it's very funny. This movie doesn't take you beyond places we've already been to a hundred times before, but it's enjoyable to watch, well scripted and well shot - it certainly never takes itself too seriously. Downside is that it's pretty predictable as a result, but these sorts of movies often are. A fun, albeit twisted romp, worth group viewing on a hangover or a frosty Sunday (so long as your group aren't of the squeamish disposition of course.

It was more funny than it was scary, I wouldn't say you would expect the end as its pretty odd. So I won't give any spoilers, that's just not my style. Also I rarely even review movies in general. But after watching the film, I was like what the hell. I should write a mini review. So this shouldn't be to long.
First and for most for what the movie is, it's really good maybe even great! It has a bunch of dark humor some cheesy some really good. But almost meshes completely perfect with the film. Clearly it has the thrill of a thriller, and a part where I myself even had a minor jump. The movie, started strong and ended strong as well. The twist and turns, the laughs, all of it was great. The main actors and actresses were really good. Thought Finch was alright and the lady who played Adam Brodie's wife. But all in all it's a movie that will grab you from the beginning all the way to end. It's a movie that I personally believe is going to age well. Also a movie I would watch frequently.
