I was excited for this movie after seeing the preview over the summer last year. I waited in anticipation for it for almost six months, reading everything I could about it on the internet. Keeping my fingers crossed that they would stick to the story. Zach Snyder disappointed me and a lot of other fans by changing the ending from the one in the book to one so ridiculous that I can't put into words how angry I was when I walked out of the theater. The details he deemed good enough to put in the movie that stuck with the original plot were well executed, but he tried to make it his own story and he failed miserably. Alan Moore's worst nightmare came true. One of the greatest stories ever written was dumbed down for the masses that had not read the novel. In trying to compress the story into a three hour movie there was so much of the original story left out.

Watching this movie is like going on a journey.
There is no better way this movie could have been made. Each character so well defined.
The delivery of the final punchline is almost too well done.
The way in which the movie comes together is just spotless almost. Respect to the people involved for taking the risk to come forward with this in the sense of bringing so many concepts together in a darker harmony.
sadly these types of films don't come around too often and when they do are severely underrated.
