abstract=Not far from the sun-kissed Santa Cruz beach where she had a traumatic childhood experience, the now-mother-of-two, Adelaide, reluctantly returns to their serene lake house with her husband, Gabe, to spend the summer vacation. However, after all this time, Adelaide still can't shake off the ominous feeling that the terrifying encounter with her bizarre doppelgänger will, somehow, come back to haunt not only her but also her unsuspecting family. Indeed, before the end of the day, the happy holidaymakers will see their worst fear come true, as an evil quartet who bears an uncanny resemblance to them stands in their driveway. Us and them pink floyd. Us military parade. This movie got high reviews from critics from other websites. I'm starting to think that the "professional" movie critics are afraid to honestly review movies that my cause a controversial backlash. For example, dramatic gay and lesbian content or movies who have mostly all black cast. Like this one. I am not prejudice or racist, but I do notice that movies like this get automatically high ratings because giving it a bad review would be a very unpopular opinion and the critic could come under scrutiny for being racist. With that said, the actors did a great job. The casting director did a good job. The characters were instantly "likable" and the production value was okay for the type of location they had to deal with. The plot was silly, very silly. There were no scary or suspenseful parts in it. It was very disappointing. The writing and directing fell below "the bar. Very disappoint that the major critics would give it so many fake positive reviews. I trusted their experience opinion and they let me down.

Terrible storyline. Stupid characters. Ridiculous acting. Just an all-round poor movie that i wanted to walk out of but I was waiting for school run. 2/10.
