This movie is to say the least, INCREDIBLE! I only have two complaints; The beginning is a little rocky for those who have read the book, there is a lot of things that are cut. Of course they had reason to do so, but it wouldn't hurt to add a little more before the arrival at "THE PRANCING PONY. My other complaint is that 1 year is to long a wait for the next movie, way to long! But the movie is wonderful, and you really feel for the little hobbit, Frodo. Elijah Wood is without question one of the best actors I've seen in a long time, when he screams you FEEL the pain! I'm also happy to see some new faces, Billy Boyd & Dominic Monaghan are great as Merry & Pippin, bringing some humor in to all the dangers and peril. And Sean Astin is just lovable as Samwise Gamgee. To say the least, all the actors did a great job in portraying their characters. And we should all thank Peter Jackson for bringing this amazing story to the BIG-Screen! 10/10.

This is possibly the best movie I've ever seen. I was a major Star Wars fanatic when the first three came out. The Fellowship of The Rings blows Star Wars out of the water. The cinematography is breath-taking;the special effects and computer animation couldn't be better. And you won't see finer acting than in this movie right down to the subtle nuances of a sudden shift of the eyes. Emotions run the gambit from comedy to sorrow. And scary? WOW! I saw it twice on opening day. There is so much to visually take in,you have to see it more than once. The three hours fly by leaving you wanting more- NOW. This part is just for Peter Jackson-Peter,are you reading this? We can't wait a whole year! In short-great movie!Go see it- go,go,go.
