Episode IX is not that easy to evaluate. This film has some nice scenes that also touch emotionally, good actors, the soundtrack of course great as always. But I find the script badly written, the film is like a roller coaster ride. From one place to the next, fast pace, very loud and hectic (children will love it) and exaggerated for my taste. One could say Star Wars on steroids.
Some twists in the story seem incredibly drawn to the hair. Logic holes that you can hardly count when you try to analyze the Star Wars saga as a whole. It's best not to try that at all!
All in all a film that can be entertaining and emotional if you simply let the music and the fast-paced images work their magic on you. But there is so much that I find ridiculous. In the last third you have the feeling that Star Wars would have to increase everything more and more in order to be able to keep up with films like the Avengers today.
Sometimes I was of course very excited and moved, but due to the many shortcomings and the really bad script, I can only give the film a 3 out of 10.
