All things considered though, if my sister ran up to me and said our long-lost father had communicated to me the means of saving the world through the ticking of a broken watch, I'd be less likely to send her to NASA than a psychiatric ward. What I learned from the movie. Everything is possible. Take responsibility. Consider the consequences. There is no right or wrong. It saddens me too much that I we will never be able to discover the vastness of the universe. Maybe centuries in the future it will be possible but we will not be there to see any of it. I hope there will be atleast a colonization of mars during my lifetime.

One of the biggest regrets in my life: having not watched this masterpiece in a movie theater. Who else listening to this in quarantine and thinking of this being the end of the world. IMHO Interstellar equals and perhaps surpasses 2001 as one of the finest, most mature and most important science fiction films to date.
