Here is your simple and useful phrase for today:

I was supposed to + 動詞の原形

Let`s practice!

I was supposed to make dinner. (夕飯を作るはずだった。)

I was supposed to clean my apartment. (掃除するはずだった。)

My wife was supposed to call me. ←三単現の場合は同じ 「was supposed to」 を使います。

We were supposed to meet here. ←複数形の “We” か “They” の場合は “was” のかわりに “were” を使います。
