The Hunt is like if you get a dozen writers to write parts of a movie but don't tell them the tone or genre, and don't let them collaborate, and then smash them all together with little regard. It's an awkward, tonally confusing, and misses most marks.
There are funny parts that work and are humorous, but the trailer is misleading to who the film will be concerning, and the lead actress gave a very, very awkward and odd performance. She constantly exhibits odd and strange facial tics, weird conversations, weird way of talking, awkward movements, and none of it is given context, it's just considerably distracting away from the story.
It's a huge missed opportunity of a story and a frustrating watch, because it never keeps on one tone of style, and switches genres without warning or smoothness. There's also a part in there that discreetly ruins the entire film in on itself, when you stop and think about it after the movie.
