This dream foreshadowed what had happened to Gandalf while the company was at the Inn at the Prancing Pony. Also, when at Tom's house, the company see that Tom is not affected by the master ring which is very would have been a very interesting scene to see if it had been put into the movie. Other than this scene, the movie was very pleasing and it was difficult to criticize because of how superior it was. Even though this large scene was left out and some scenes were either changed or added in, it was an extraordinary film.
